    iPhone 4G vs. HTC Desire/Bravo

The iPhone is awesome, no doubt about it... but the HTC Desire/Bravo looks equally as awesome. Is this iOS vs Android all over again? I'd say the operating systems are well matched... so then does it become a hardware vs hardware thing? Or is it a design and sexiness thing? PLEASE HELP ME DECIDE!

I'm getting the HTC Evo 4G. The technical specs blow the iPhone away.

I just updated my iPhone 3G to OS4 and I am very impressed. I wish I could have the multitasking features available to the 3GS and 4G. I see a new iPhone in my future.

Android rules! Early adopters kind of get the short end of the stick on updates, but I see a hardware wall in the near future, so now is probably a good time to get in on the game. My Nexus One is running 2.2 and I could not be happier with it.

The Desire is kind of a mid level phone in comparison with the Incredible, Vision, Evo, or Droid X. As far a seamless user interface goes, iPhone is still the winner (android vs iphoneos anyway, palm's webos ui blows both of them away), but for power openness and "thinking different" you should go with Android. Hold out for the Vision.

As a fan of most of Apple's products I would have to go with the iPhone 4G.

I got the evo... Love it!

As for someone who doesn't tinker constantly with phones I would suggest iPhone but I don't know how good AT&T's network is. I've always been a sprint guy. Coming from WebOS to Android there are a few nuances that annoy me such as how android handles notifications but overall I enjoy the phone. It does take a little bit of tweaking to get the phone just right but now that I have it all setup the phone rules.

If you get the evo purchase SetCPU from the market.. with this you can underclock the cpu when your phone is sleeping and you get much better battery life out of your phone. I get 2 days on a single charge now!

Could not agree more. Tried Treo (looong time ago), tried iPhone, tried Android-- my wife adores her Nexus One - and have played around with the Pre.... And yet I still come back to the Blackberry as if I was addicted. Old, Slightly funky, and certainly not as sweet looking as everything else out there, BlackBerry's get the job done unlike anything else out there.

However.... the windows mobile phone 7 OS seems pretty impressive... if it does business better than blackberry... I might switch. Check it out: Mobile Operating System | Mobile Devices | Smart Phones | Windows Phone 7
